A series of images provide a framework within which to experience the moment that precedes the point of no return. Loneliness, bravery and vulnerability linger comfortably, playfully and powerfully in the presence of an apocalypse we did not know was coming. The other future that we did not see was just around the corner and now it has passed. Created on South Africa’s skeleton coast between Cape Town and Namibia. This work in progress evokes a disruption in the discourse of future idealism which I intend to record and incorporate into the completion and exhibition of the work.
