Gothenburg Fringe Festival kicks-off at Kronhuset

Kronhuset Kreativ Arena, in the heart of the historic Västra Nordstan is the place to be on Wednesday evening for the opening evening of Gothenburg Fringe 2021

For the first time, the Opening will take place inside and outside Kronhuset, Gothenburg’s best-preserved 17th century building.


The Opening includes free-access areas on the ground and first floor with a variety of performances and activities for all ages, with no ticket needed to attend.


Additional ticketed performances and short tours, to be booked here, will be taking place on the higher floors of the building - each tour and show will last 30 minutes in total.


From 20:30, artists at the Fringe will have an opportunity to tease their shows with quickfire two-minute performances.


Non-ticketed programme: 16:30 to 17:00 at Gustaf Adolfs Torg - Love's Left Hand (Dance) 17:00 at Kronhuset - Welcoming words and show 17:15 to 18:00 - Fringe artist's preview (Dance and Music) 18:00 to 19:30 - Juggling, street art and acrobatics with LuQas, Svart Adam Solander and Maria Zeniou 19:30 to 20:00 - Love's Left Hand 20:30 to 22:00 - Artist preview night


The Opening is a free event in collaboration with Higab AB.

From Thursday afternoon, Gothenburg will be awash with Fringe fun as we throw four days of diverse and exciting creative action your way with shows at 10 indoor venues as well as outdoor performances.
