Perform at Gothenburg Fringe 2023 - GLOBAL ARTIST CALL OPEN!

Updated: Nov 30, 2022

It's time for the 7th annual Nordic Fringe Network (NFN) artist call. We're on the hunt for a variety of shows and performances from local and international artists.

One application form = a world of festivals at your fingertips!

The Nordic Fringe Network - NFN welcomes local and global talent to register their ARTISTIC PROPOSALS for one, or several of the NFN touring circuit festivals.

Gothenburg Fringe 2023 will see our festival grow to a 10-day event, taking place on 1-10 September, giving artists an opportunity to visit our festival as part of their Nordic Fringe tour.

To express interest in performing at any of participating festivals within the open call, create a profile on eventotron.com and access the artist proposal form here. The application is open until 8 January 2023.

We're celebrating our eighth edition in Gothenburg and the new longer format will give all of our artists the opportunity to enjoy the festival to the full and give their shows an opportunity to flourish.

The opening weekend of the festival, 1-3 September, will have more of a focus on local artists, 4 and 5 September will feature workshops, classes and individual events, before we are back in full flow on 6-10 September.

We have conventional theatre, music and dance venues but are putting a special focus on site-specific work, creative use of heritage buildings and other unique venues. Please note that these venues can not offer the same tech as conventional venues and often require a certain amount of flexibility and creative solutions. There is a 30 euro application fee for Gothenburg Fringe, which goes towards paying for the venues we rent during the festival. Artists offered a place at the festival receive a venue at no further cost, tech support and 100% of the money earned from ticket sales.

The application deadline is 8 January 2023 and the full list of festivals you can apply for is as follows:

1. Finfringe (Finland) 10th - 13th MAY www.finfringe.fi
